We tend to be such busy people: always something to do, somewhere to be. Can’t. Stop. Moving.
We tend to be such noisy people: always something to say, something to hear. Can’t. Stop. Talking.
We get tired, impatient, annoyed, and frustrated.
We get crabby, forget things, and grow old.
Stopping. W a i t i n g…
What if we were silent, still, and created space for the Lord to speak?
What if we stopped… and waited… to hear his voice?
Don’t put it off any longer. Do it now.
Create sacred space. Allow sacred space. Wherever you are.
“Lord, let my words be few. Let my words be yours. Breathe your breath inside my chest, so every breath I breathe for you.”
“Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” -Isaiah 40:28-31 NLT
